Applications are now open for Springboard's Rural Regenerator Fellowship! The 2024-26 Fellowship will focus on supporting artists whose work is connected to land, environment, and/or food systems. Rural artists who are using their creative practice to explore environmental justice, land and food sovereignty, agriculture, foodways, climate solutions, and/or sustainability are welcome to apply.
Our latest impact report, The Art of Environmental Stewardship, is a culmination of several years of work, programming, and artist-led projects. It offers a framework for how artists are key partners in environmental stewardship by connecting us more deeply to our environments and one another, facilitating community repair, and reimagining a more sustainable future.
What does rural-urban solidarity mean to you? This year, Springboard for the Arts invites artists and creatives across Minnesota to develop projects that explore and shed light on the concept of rural-urban solidarity to inspire joy, compassion, and connection. Guaranteed Income for Artists

Now in its 7th year, the 2024 edition of CSA will include three boxes of artwork, each one featuring handcrafted artwork by local makers. Shares will be delivered in February, March and April. Only 50 shares are available, so act fast!

Our Resource Labs in Saint Paul and Fergus Falls, MN, offer individual artists and small organizations access to a full array of equipment, tools, and services in an informal, self-directed environment. Artists can use the Lab for artwork documentation, design, digitization and for general technical assistance on small projects.
"Work of Art" is a comprehensive curriculum designed to help you in building, and sustaining, your creative business through free, year-round workshops. The "Work of Art" series has been taught by Springboard for the Arts at arts organizations, libraries and colleges in over 80 communities in the Upper Midwest, and replicated across the country by artists, arts organizations, and colleges and universities.
