Springboard's Artist Loan Fund provides low-interest loans from $1000 to $5000, at a rate of 1% above the prime rate, simple interest, to artists in the Twin Cities area. Loan terms are from 12 to 36 months. This is a community-based revolving loan program designed to meet a broad range of artists' needs and opportunities.
For example, loans have been used for:
Purchasing equipment for your arts business
Buying a car
Buying a computer
Moving expenses
Funding a research trip
Financing an educational opportunity
Producing marketing materials
Manufacturing CD's
Producing manuscripts for sale
Artist applicants must attend an informational meeting before initiating the process.
