Learn how to track revenues and expenses, make informed projections, and gain a clearer understanding of your artistic business finances.
This workshop is for artists in the region served by the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council (PLRAC), the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council (SEMAC), and the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council (SMAC). The workshop is 1.5 hrs long, following which the Springboard instructor and SEMAC staff will facilitate a 30 minute Q&A and networking session for participants.
These workshops are a part of the 12-part Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists series, a professional development curriculum designed to teach business skills to artists in all disciplines. Bio: Kandace Creel Falcón, PhD. is a formerly tenured Associate Professor of Women’s & Gender Studies who spends their days painting, writing about the joy of creative inquiry, and developing a more peaceful relationship with their nervous system. KCF maintains a research-informed studio practice in their home in the Erhard Hills of rural Otter Tail County.
