This workshop will be held in-person. It is part of a series of in-person and virtual workshops being presented in Fall 2024 in partnership with Hennepin County Library.

Business Structure Basics
Peter Paquette, an attorney from Springboard’s Minnesota Lawyers for the Arts (MnLA) program will cover business models from LLC’s to 501(c)3’s, including information on how to prepare, and benefits and risks.

Peter Paquette runs a small firm that primarily focuses on supporting small businesses, assisting people through divorces, and creating comprehensive estate plans. Mr. Paquette is especially interested in the area of non-patent IP law, and has counseled many small businesses on how to properly handle their IP. Mr. Paquette was one of the youngest members of his graduating class.
