Business loans

The Small Business Administration (SBA) facilitates a number of loans for small businesses. The lender will provide the business with a full list of eligibility requirements for the loan. SBA can direct them to the appropriate lender for their needs. These types of loans include:

7(a) Loans are SBA's primary loan program for providing financial assistance to small businesses.

504 Loans provide long-term, fixed rate financing of up to $5 million for major fixed assets and/or real estate. You can apply through a nearby CDC (Certified Development Corportation).

Microloans provide loans up to $50,000 to help small businesses start up and expand. They also provide TA (technical assistance). You can apply through one of the 9 non-profit microlenders across the state.

Community Advantage Loans are community-based, mission-focused lenders meet the credit, management and TA needs of small business in underserved markets.
