Job Purpose: Help support Lundstrum Performing Arts’ mission of discovering talent and inspiring dreams through the performing arts. The Arts and Production Coordinator assists with planning, coordinating and implementing performances by our performing arts students, coordinating administrative planning and technical needs: staffing, lights and sound, production equipment, staging, set up/tear down.

Job Duties – What you will be doing:
Supporting Artistic Mission—support arts team in organizing staffing and outreach, securing performance rights, coordinating events and supporting correspondence and tasks to implement classroom curriculum.
Facilitating Productions and Rentals—coordinate and execute technical elements of student showcases and productions: scheduling of technical staff and volunteers, design and implementation of lighting, sound, sets and props, set-up and tear-down of stage and risers, execution and coordination of rental agreements and schedules.
Maintaining and Improving Facilities—maintain master calendar, coordinate onsite facilities contractors, including piano tuning, track long-term facilities needs and vendors, coordinate staffing for rental events.

Qualifications or requirements
Qualifications – What we are looking for:
Experience — Strong organizational background and demonstrated ability for project management, staffing and coordination and facilities and building maintenance. Technical experience is required and theater production experience is preferred.
Communication — Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, must have ability to work as a leader of the team and partner collaboratively with external clients and internal teams.
Technical Skills — Proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft products, Zoom, as well as technical expertise with lighting and sound equipment, or comparable technical skills.
Adaptability — Ability to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule — Regular, predictable attendance, punctuality, and availability to work during operational hours as defined by leadership. Includes some evenings during 3-4 performance weekends per year.
Physical & Emotional Capabilities — Must be able to handle the physical aspects of work in an performing environment. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must have a high level of resiliency
