Custom Picture Framing Sales, Production and Installation Expert

Salary: Depends upon skills. We usually start at $20/hour
Busy custom framing business in the North Loop seeking a PT/ FT person to help with residential and commercial art installations, showroom sales and occasional production.
This position is for an experienced person who can wear many hats.
For full time, applicant must have years of experience in each of the following:
Art and gallery installation
Custom framing design
Custom framing production
Part time = experience in 2 of the above
Qualifications or requirements
At least 3 years of experience co-creating framing designs with clientele.
At least 3 years of framing production experience.
At least 3 years of installing artworks for commercial and residential clientele.
Must have experience- we are unable to train.
Other skills needed:
Mechanical thinking skills
Ability to take direction and project manage.
A valid drivers license and ability to drive a large vehicle.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds safely
Your own vehicle or bicycle to float from showroom to workshop if needed. (It is a 12 + block walk)
Any interior design experience or expertise.
Art history and design history knowledge.
A devoted clientele from your previous position.
Experience with framing software of any kind or Apple computers
Full or part time, flexible
North Loop location – showroom and workshop
Retail schedule. Showroom is open Tuesday – Friday 10 – 6 and Saturday 10 -5, Sunday 11-3.
Salary is experience dependent.
