Job description

DESCRIPTION: This position manages the digital marketing initiatives for both theatres by generating content for social media, email, blogs, and website landing pages, and by providing administrative support. This includes collaborating with multiple departments and stakeholders to deeply understand the mission and communicate the theatres’ goals and impact.

This position contributes to the new shared mission of SteppingStone Theatre and Park Square Theatre as a “Theatre for Life,” supporting excellent artistry, creative learning, and opportunities to develop as a human being and an artist, whether as a professional artist, learner, or audience member.

Reports to and close associates: Reports to Marketing & Communications Director; Interacts regularly with all staff areas throughout the organization.

Qualifications or requirements


2-3 years experience in marketing, communications, sales or audience development
Experience and enthusiasm in social media, digital marketing, and organizational storytelling
Previous experience with email marketing software (Constant Contact/Mailchimp)
Experience with website management (WordPress), standard digital tools, SEO, Google Ads and Analytics
Proficiency in graphic design (Adobe, Canva), and photography
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
Ability to manage a fluctuating schedule with availability for evening and weekend responsibilities


Passion for arts and culture, theatre, youth development and other mission focus areas
Personal or professional experience working with diverse communities
The ability to lift (with assistance) 25-50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle availability

Status: Full Time. Requires evening and weekend availability 1-2 times/week as determined by the theatres’ rehearsal and performance calendar.
