Job description

The primary role of the Marketing & Enrollment Associate is to perform tasks related to student enrollment and assist marketing staff with website and social media maintenance. Additionally, this person will provide administrative support to the Executive and Administrative Directors.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Process student registrations using Google Forms, Google Sheets, and FileMaker Pro
• Generate and distribute invoices
• Track payments via Square
• Maintain student attendance records and faculty time sheets using Google Sheets
• Be the direct line of communication to students, families, and faculty
• Manage SPCM merchandise, including inventory, online store, order processing, and shipping
• Create and distribute instrument rental invoices and track payments
• Basic administrative duties include: telephone, mail, and email coverage
• Coordinate and track volunteer activities
• Assist with planning and implementing SPCM events, such as recitals, faculty parties, and other events
• Manage faculty portal using Squarespace and coordinate with the Communications department to keep website up to date
• Create basic promotional graphics as needed for social media using Canva
• Provide monthly reports of enrollment, merchandise, and instrument rentals
• Coordinate social media postings with the Communications department
• Provide social media content for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications or requirements

• Previous experience working in a marketing or administrative role
• Knowledge and experience in Google applications
• Experience working with and posting to social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
• Strong writing capabilities
• Effective listening and oral communication skills
• Organizational and time management ability
• Comfortable learning new technology
• Self-starter and ability to work both independently and in team
• Knowledge and experience with Square, Squarespace, FileMaker Pro, and Canva; basic graphic design experience a strong plus

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Able to work on a computer for the majority of work hours
