You are responsible for making the annual sales goal for retreats and Youth Frontiers Leadership Conference programming in each territory, and are responsible for all new retreats sold in your market/territory. You are responsible for working with the Retreat Coordinator to build and maintain relationships with our returning/rebook clients and to ensure that the overall sales goal in your territory is being met (both rebook and new sales).

While this is a sales position, our philosophy is to build relationships with schools, understand principals’ and counselors’ needs around school climate and social-emotional learning, and partner with schools to support their important work with young people. You are a key part of building and maintaining these important relationships for our organization.

-You will sell YF Programs within your assigned territory.
-You will initiate and work from a sales plan.
-You will meet sales goals and objectives.
-You will travel overnight in your market quarterly, and will have one to four offsite meetings during the your regular work weeks.
-You will follow up on cold and warm phone calls from the sales pipeline.
-You will host visitors on our retreats.
-You will close new and rebook retreat sales.
-You will attend and participate in sales meetings and trainings.
-You will update and maintain contact and conversation information in the database.
-You will establish new and maintain established school client relationships in a bounded territory. You will build those relationships with school personnel to drive program sales.
-You will follow up on referrals and new school leads.
-You will assist with sales, marketing and other lead generation efforts.
-You will attend trade shows for the given territory.
-You will support and attend events to generate new relationships.
-You will perform other duties as apparent or assigned by your supervisor.

This position is classified as regular, full-time, non-exempt. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, 40 hours/week. This position does not work during the month of July. The annual salary range for this position is $48,000 – $52,000, DOQ.

Qualifications or requirements

-You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and are able to travel occasionally for work on overnight trips.


-You have a bachelor’s degree.
-You have at least two years of sales experience.
-You have experience with a CRM database (preferably FileMaker Pro).
-You have strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
-You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
-You have intermediate skills with Word, Excel and Powerpoint (or equivalent) software.


-Have experience with Mac computers.
-Have experience in education or social services.
