Job description

Now Hiring: Tile Ambassador
Ceramic Tile Manufacturing Company- Mercury Mosaics!

We’re a humble group of hardworking creatives and makers. We manufacture some of the world’s most beautiful handmade tile. All materials are sourced from the US. We are independent and a team, like to have a drama-free environment, so we only hire good people.

We’re a part of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District and like to set a good example by showing how organized and successful artists can be. We celebrate birthdays with potlucks, support each other’s artistic and personal goals and some of us bring our dogs with us to work. Not only do we make gorgeous handmade tile from scratch, we also have a team who creates beautiful artwork digitally for our website and to use in our marketing activities to spread the word about our amazing products.

Job Duties:
• Delivering excellent customer service (answering emails and phone calls, etc)
o Assisting clients with getting their project designs started
 Showing clients around the factory, giving design advice, providing complimentary samples, etc.
o Educating clients about our product and the different applications of our tile
o Writing lots of personal notes (as emails) to check in with clients in early stages and help inspire, educate and aid their research to continue the momentum of their tile projects.
o Calling clients who have shown interest in our products to lend assistance where digital records imply this would help – no cold-calling.
o Collecting basic information from clients to fully fill-in records.
o Calculate tile measurements to create ballpark quotes and price estimates for our clients’ projects
o Creating quick and simple visual examples to help clients hone in on their design decision. (i.e. basic mood boards in Keynote, using photo files or inspiration of other materials influencing their tile project)
• Creating, streamlining, and managing sales leads through our CRM system- ZoHo
o Client data entry and organization
o Correspondence on email and chat
o Following through with deals – setting yourself tasks to reach out to clients to offer assistance and continue to nurture.
o Determining final selections for clients and administering the paperwork to complete the project.
o Assisting the Design-Sales Team with the overall organization and processing of our sales leads to ensure that all of our clients are helped in a timely manner
We will give you initial training of the manufacturing side of the business to give you a better understanding of the products you’ll be selling. Must love dogs.
