The Residential Training Supervisor position conducts “basic training” with all new cleaners . The Residential Training Supervisor position is responsible for providing outstanding support and customer service. This position holds the accountability for establishing safe, proper, and effective cleaning techniques with all new cleaners. This role will familiarize cleaners with Two Bettys cleaning tools and products and ensure clear expectations are communicated to cleaners so we are setting them up for a successful and positive experience that reflects the company’s core values and mission. The Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Tasks and responsibilities associated with this position include (but are not limited to) the following:
Ensure all new cleaners are provided thorough, effective, safe, and comprehensive “basic training”
Understand, model, and train Two Bettys quality standards for both new cleaners and tenured cleaners
Work closely with management to develop best practices in establishing and supporting all residential cleaners
Conduct “basics” training for cleaners on cleaning techniques, equipment, workflows, etc.
Provide excellent customer service
Cover missed shifts as needed after all efforts have been made to cover training cleans to fulfill brand promise to our clients
Administrative duties related to supervising cleaners as delegated by management
Special projects as needed, per the demands of the business
Contribute and problem solve as the supervisor position grows and evolves
Conduct self in a professional manner at all times
Work with HQ members and support team to achieve goals and build trust with cleaners and clients alike.
Establish vacation, holiday and PTO coverage as a team, working with Training Manager
Engage and motivate residential cleaners with their operational work through the company mission
Attend company meetings, events and model Two Bettys company values and mission is expected
Prioritize safety and insists that team members follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
Typically 20 hours per week, spread over a 3-day work week, expanding and contracting as the business demands. There will be a check-in at 90 days to assess mutual fit and accuracy of job scope.
Schedule for this position (subject to change):
This position is eligible for PTO, healthcare insurance, 401k, and disability options if tenure and hourly requirements for each benefit are achieved. This position also continues to accrue sick and safe time in accordance with the Minneapolis ordinance.
Qualifications or requirements
The Skills Required:
Experience, knowledge, and/or ability to learn simple technology platforms (spreadsheets, Google Suite, email, Slack, etc.)
Clear, effective and efficient communication both verbal and written
Able to work independently and think critically
Effective at time management and task delegation
Give and receive feedback with care and in a timely fashion
Highly organized and excited to create and recreate systems in order to maximize efficiency and minimize redundancies
Proactive and excited to identify and eliminate problems, knowing when to bring in leadership and when to propose your own solutions
The Work Environment:
This role will primarily provide field work and training at clients homes. This position must be able to work flexibly in multiple work environments including the Two Bettys office, off-site, and field locations. This role must also have the ability to commute between client locations.
The Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds safely
Ability to work on feet for up to 8 hours a day
Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb step stool, etc. in an 8 hour day while providing field support
Ability to sit for long periods of time (driving/commuting) between account locations
