Lanesboro Arts is seeking applications for 2026 Exhibition Gallery solo artist exhibitions!
The Lanesboro Arts Galleries connects regional visual artists with the vibrant arts community of Lanesboro, Minnesota. The Juried Sales and Exhibition Galleries are a public gathering space where artists are uplifted and visitors are inspired.
The Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery seeks artworks that enrich both artist and community and exhibit a unique vision, original voice, and quality craftsmanship. These pieces should be diverse and accessible to a wide range of people.
In alignment with Lanesboro Art’s mission to serve as a regional catalyst for artistic excellence and educational development in providing diverse art experiences for all ages, the Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery presents exhibitions, programming, and sales opportunities that initiate discussion and connection. Artist Exhibitions open with an Opening Reception celebration that gives viewers a first look at the new artwork and the opportunity to meet the artist who created it. The Lanesboro Arts Exhibition Gallery hosts three to four solo artist shows each year, presenting diverse perspectives and mediums. To allow artists time to develop their work, jury selections are made in advance of the scheduled exhibits. The jury for this call consists of practicing artists and arts professionals who have existing relationships with Lanesboro Arts and are familiar with the regional arts scene.
Exhibitions are approximately eight weeks in length and artists working in all visual arts mediums are encouraged to apply. Artists featured in the 2026 Exhibition Gallery Series must reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
All visual arts media are eligible. Artwork for sale in the Exhibition Gallery is sold at a consignment rate of 60% of the retail price to the artist. Artwork in the Exhibition Gallery is not required to be for sale.

The current application window is for exhibitions taking place in 2026. The Application deadline is Monday, May 12th. All artists will be notified by Friday, May 30th.
