Do you like to see art in the park, and dream of dancing in the street? We’ve got music, dance, balloons, arts, crafts, games, animals, and FUN all in the middle of downtown St. Paul. The Ordway is seeking volunteers for our annual presentation of the Flint Hills Family Festival. The festival will take place May 29th – June 1st, 2024
Made possible by a 20 plus-year partnership between the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts and Flint Hills Resources, the Flint Hills Family Festival is celebrated each year with a week of school performances and a weekend of free and low-cost performances and art activities for families. The Festival has successfully served over one million people in our community since its inception in 2001.
Our annual summer festival brings thousands of children and families to Downtown St. Paul, as the Ordway, and surrounding areas, transform with music, dance, art activities, and public art installations. Come on out, we’ll give you a t-shirt and free food and drink, and best of all FREE PARKING.
Volunteer sign-up is now open. In order to make the event a success we will need several volunteers throughout the week to help with a variety of tasks. If you are interested in volunteering for the Flint Hills Family Festival, please complete the volunteer registration form.
