The Arts Board is seeking people from anywhere in the state, who have different backgrounds and experiences, who can help review grant applications. It’s important that Minnesota residents play a role in deciding how public funding for the arts is invested!

Reviewers can be:

Any Minnesota resident who has a strong interest in the arts. You don’t have to work in the arts, just an arts background or involvement is enough. If you sing in a community choir, participate in community theater or orchestra, weave, bead, draw, take art classes, etc.

–OR–

Any Minnesota resident who does not work in the arts or have a background in the arts but does have experience with nonprofit organizations, budgeting, planning, or project management.

Reviewers:
• Would need to be available to complete four weeks of service between mid-October 2023 and the end of January 2024.
• Review 25-30 applications online, on your own time (days, evenings, weekends, you decide).
• Participate in a one-hour virtual training session.
• Participate in a one-day, virtual review meeting scheduled between mid-November and the end of January.
