Lanesboro Arts is seeking artists to join its Juried Sales Gallery!
The Lanesboro Arts Galleries connects regional visual artists with the vibrant arts community of Lanesboro, Minnesota. Our Juried Sales Gallery and Exhibition Gallery are public gathering spaces where artists are uplifted and visitors are inspired.
The Juried Sales Gallery presents work from Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. These pieces exhibit a unique vision and original voice, quality craftsmanship, and should be diverse and accessible to a wide range of people.
Artists selected for the Juried Sales Gallery present a unique vision, original voice, and quality craftsmanship. Over 80 artists are currently represented in the Juried Sales Gallery, many of whom have shown their artwork there for multiple years. However, each year, a few additional artists are selected to evolve the offerings and create opportunities for new artists and artisans to display and sell their work.
The jury for this call consists of practicing artists and arts professionals who have existing relationships with Lanesboro Arts and are familiar with the regional arts scene.
All visual arts media are eligible. Artwork for sale in the Juried Sales Gallery is sold at a consignment rate of 60% of the retail price to the artist. Artwork in the Juried Sales Gallery is required to be for sale.
To apply, please fill out the form on the Lanesboro Arts Website at https://lanesboroarts.org/artist-opportunities/juried-sales-gallery/. While online submissions are preferred, artists may request a hard copy application. Lanesboro Arts will also accept video application submissions sent to gallery@lanesboroarts.org with the subject line “Gallery Application.”
The Application deadline is Monday, May 12th. All artists will be notified by Friday, May 30th.
