At The 33rd Annual Powderhorn Art Fair (PAF) Amazing artists like you will help us showcase a wide selection of fine arts and crafts and drive sales from art enthusiasts. The 33rd Annual Powderhorn Art Fair (PAF) is a Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Upper Midwest Regional Art Fair. In the 66-acre Powderhorn Park, 160 artists will circle the tree-lined Powderhorn Lake.

This Art Fair is a collaboration between the Powderhorn Neighborhood Association (PPNA) and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB). Proceeds from the Powderhorn Art Fair go towards programs that help strengthen the community. The Powderhorn Art Fair attracts artists from over twenty states and 200 cities, making it a local and regional favorite. The fair’s success comes from the long-standing collaboration between PPNA & MPRB.

Jury & Awards: PAF uses a “blind” jury of 3 judges. The judges do not know the names of the artists they review—judges score based on Impact, Style/Design, and Technical Skill. During the fair, judges will review artists’ work on-site on Saturday. Scores will determine award recipients and the corresponding participation incentive for next year’s show. First, Second, Third Place, Honorable Mention, and Spirit of Powderhorn recipients will be invited back with the jury and booth fees waived. Twenty invitational award winners will be invited back with the jury fee waived but must pay a booth fee.

Teardown begins at 5:00 PM Sunday and must be completed by 8:00 PM. Artist Categories: Main Exhibitor – 160 artists can be juried into this category. Mediums: Clay, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Leather, Metal, Mixed Media, Painting, Paper, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Wood.

About PPNA: PPNA is a 43-year-old, small-but-mighty community-building nonprofit focusing on serving South Minneapolis. Our work involves pursuing creative ways to build connections, sharing relevant community information, and proactively partnering with others to help positively impact key community issues.

All work must be original, designed, and created by the accepted artist as represented by work in the submitted visual samples. Work made with the use of commercial kits, molds including greenware or is mass-produced, will not be accepted. Absolutely no buy/sell items.

The selected artist’s presence is required on-site for the entire show. If your work reflects and constitutes more than one category, you must apply separately in each category. Each category will be juried separately and require its own jury fee. You cannot jury into more than one category, and you cannot present more than one medium in your booth.

A single booth fee will be required for the category you are juried into.
