Looking for a ceramic arts adventure? South Bear School, located in beautiful Northeast Iowa, is hosting a Pottery Retreat that continues the tradition of Bauhaus master potter Marguerite Wildenhain. Our teachers have decades of experience in supportive instruction for students of all abilities. Throw on traditional kickwheels and camp in an idyllic woodland community along a beautiful meandering creek. Although the retreat has a focus on pottery, other activities and art forms will take place throughout the week, including meditation, drawing and painting, and other presentations.
