The Carnegie Art Center in Mankato, Minnesota invites exhibition proposals from Minnesota-based individual artists and collaborative artist groups working in all visual art media. We welcome both emerging and established artists.
As a pillar of our mission, we are committed to supporting living, working artists and we are particularly interested in proposals from artists who represent a variety of ethnicities, cultural perspectives, and alternative communities.
Artists may propose exhibitions for any of our three gallery spaces within our historic Carnegie building, as well as our satellite gallery locations throughout the Mankato community.
Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis by the Carnegie Art Center Gallery Committee, with exhibition schedules typically finalized each November. Selected artists will be contacted directly to discuss potential exhibition opportunities.
