Based on professional development workshops that have been offered around the country, Springboard for the Arts offers Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists as a free toolkit. This 12-part curriculum walks artists of all disciplines through career planning, practical skills like pricing, promotions and marketing, and how to create a business plan. We want to know more about artists’ needs nationally, what their experience with professional development has been, and how this resource can be useful to artists.
