Su Legatt is an artist and community organizer based in Moorhead, Minnesota. She works closely with local non-profits, art and cultural institutions, and local government agencies to strengthen the role of the people in the development of public art and public projects.

Her projects explore the moments of everyday life and utilize a variety of community engagement and crowd-sourcing methods to create opportunities to share, broaden relationships, and strengthen our communities through simple exchange and empathy.

As a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead and Utah State University, she has taught courses and workshops at North Dakota State University, Minnesota State University, Lake Superior College, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Plains Art Museum, Rourke Art Museum, and many other locations throughout the country.

Legatt is the recipient of the Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, Individual Artist Grant from the Lake Region Arts Council, and has worked on projects for the National Endowment for the Arts, ArtPlace America, Bush Foundation, and more.

Products range from greeting cards that celebrate Minnesota history, to unique wall pieces that combine screen printed text with one-of-a-kind crocheted elements, to fine art photography from the region.
