Work of Art logo

These workshops are for businesses, entrepreneurs, craftspeople and artists living within the Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission service area: Big Stone, Chippewa, Lac qui Parle, Swift and Yellow Medicine counties. Meander artists can select the county they display in during Meander.

Springboard for the Arts will be offering the following virtual workshops on Zoom. Participation via computer is recommended, however, joining the workshop by phone is also an option if internet or computer access is a barrier.

Work of Art: Marketing
Date: Mon, Dec 5, 6:00 - 8:30 PM Central Time
Define your product, discover your target audience, make decisions about how you sell your work, and identify a budget and strategy for your artistic business.

Work of Art: Engaging Customers & Selling Your Work
Date: Mon, Dec 19, 6:00 - 8:30 PM Central Time
Learn tools and techniques to communicate the value of your work to potential customers.

What's the difference between these two workshops? Marketing is the big-picture view of a business's communications, advertising, and storytelling. Engaging Customers & Selling Your Work is a subset of one's overall marketing strategy that focuses on direct customer interaction.
