This training is designed for artists, arts leaders, and arts educators who want to lead the Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists curriculum in their community or classes. The training will include deep dives on the curriculum materials, exploration of pedagogy, and strategies for including Work of Art materials into existing programming, or how to develop new programs based on Work of Art. The Work of Art training is ideal for Arts Council staff interested in offering professional development and business skills training to artists in their community; professors and teachers interested in including practical business skills in their class curricula; and individual artists with high capacity to organize and teach in their community.
