About Twin Cities Bronze

Twin Cities Bronze is a nonprofit performing ensemble specializing in the music and art of handbells that just finished celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary. Selected by annual audition, this ensemble of advanced ringers hails from the metropolitan area of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota. TCB celebrates the opportunity to present music from diverse composers and collaborate with a wide variety of performing artists. Providing educational experiences and innovative performances is integral to the ensemble’s identity. TCB hosts and facilitates an annual Mid-Winter workshop to provide area ringers and organizations opportunities to enhance skills and gain appreciation for handbell techniques and maintenance. TCB annually performs two or three high-caliber concert cycles and a biannual tour, as well as commissions for new handbell repertoire.

TCB is funded primarily through performance fees and audience donations at concerts. It actively applies for grant funding opportunities.

The Mission of Twin Cities Bronze

To provide musical excellence through innovative performances and education using the medium of handbells.
