The People’s Museum for Prince – Call for Submissions

Commemorating 10 years since Prince’s passing, The People’s Museum for Prince invites Minnesota artists to submit artwork and stories exploring how Prince transformed lives and culture. This community-sourced, experimental museum honors Prince’s creative legacy through diverse artistic voices.

All mediums welcome: paintings, sculpture, quilts, video, photography, poetry, performance, mixed media, installation, and more. Building on our successful 2018 exhibition that welcomed 3,000+ visitors and featured 35+ artists from 6 countries, the 2026 edition marks this important anniversary with exhibitions opening on Prince’s birthday in North Minneapolis, Prince’s childhood neighborhood.

Note: Your work does not need to be literally about Prince – we welcome any work inspired by his impact on your creative life, artistic practice, or worldview.

SUBMISSIONS OPEN: November 1, 2025 – January 31, 2026

OPENING RECEPTION: June 7, 2026 (Prince’s birthday)

LOCATION: Roberts Gallery (formerly Homewood Studios)
2400 Plymouth Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN 55411

Submissions are free and open to all artists.
