Call for Artists: 2027 Solo and Group Exhibition Proposals

MacRostie Art Center (MAC) in Grand Rapids, MN, has two gallery spaces which each host bimonthly exhibitions and also manages the gallery at the Reif Performing Arts Center. The MAC Exhibit Committee is currently seeking proposals for solo and group exhibitions for 2027.

A solo exhibition proposal should include:

• Written proposal outlining the exhibition – please include whether the work has been exhibited at another venue (where and when) and whether the work will be for sale (with approximate price points)
• Artist Statement
• Biographical Statement and/or Resume
• 6–10 digital images of your work that are representative of the exhibition proposal

A group exhibition proposal should include:

• Written proposal outlining the exhibition – please include whether the work has been exhibited at another venue (where and when) and whether the work will be for sale (with approximate price points)
• Biographical Statements and/or Resumes of participating artists
• 6–10 digital images that are representative of the exhibition

Proposals are due on or before June 30, 2026. Notifications will be sent to artists by September 1, 2026.
