Call for Artists: “Navigating Careful and Kind Healthcare”

Rimon Grant Project / Sabes Jewish Community Center

Do you have a piece or pieces that express an experience related to healthcare that was either negative or positive?  I am hoping through the visual arts to elevate some of our stories to a more human, compassionate and kind experience vs. the healthcare industry it has become.      If your experience as a patient, caregiver, medical professional, students, etc. can be expressed through your artwork, please consider submitting to this call.   Receiving the care we each need can be daunting and frustrating.  I’m hoping this show will start a conversation as to how we can each push for care that is kind and person-centered.  Let’s show the difference between what is and what should be.

I am looking for visual art pieces (any size, any medium) that fall under the theme :  “Navigating Careful and Kind Health Care”.  This was inspired by a non-profit organization called The Patient Revolution.  Feel free to visit this website for backround information:  http://patientrevolution.org

There is no entrance fee.  Submit up to 3 pieces. I suggest entering early, as I will consider accepting pieces that qualify as they come in.
