Hello!
I am reaching out on behalf of the Program in Health Disparities Research (PHDR) at the University of Minnesota. As we prepare for our 20th Anniversary Celebration on October 1, 2026, we are seeking an artist to create an artwork that recognizes our founder, honors our long-standing community partnerships, and reflects the impact and mission of our program. As we are now working within a more condensed timeline, we are hoping to identify an artist and begin the creative process as soon as possible. We want to ensure adequate time for concept development, review and approval of drafts, proof selection, production, and final delivery of the artwork prior to the event.
In addition to serving as a commemorative piece, we are interested in artwork that may have lasting value to the program and be adaptable for future communications, outreach, and promotional materials.
We would also be honored to invite the selected artist to attend our 20th Anniversary Celebration and be recognized as part of the event.
If this is a project you may be interested in, we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your availability, process, timeline, and budget considerations. If you are unable to take on the project, we would also welcome any recommendations for artists who may be a good fit.
