The Eagan Art House is accepting applications for an open call for art for solo or small group exhibitions. Selected work will be displayed in the Eagan Art House from October 2026 to early January 2027. We welcome traditional and non-traditional media, including but not limited to photography, textiles, digital artwork, painting, drawing, and printmaking. Work must be compatible with the Walker display system. Artist selection will be based on artistic quality, originality, and cohesiveness, in addition to location requirements and availability.
To complete an application, please submit:
• A brief artist statement and/or artist bio
• Clear, high quality jpeg images of ALL submitted artwork. Please include all artwork information (Artist, Title, Medium, Dimensions, Price) for each image. Submissions without images will NOT be considered.
• If artists are applying as a group, please describe the group (including all artist names) and provide descriptions for all submitted artwork in addition to submitting the required images.
• $10 non-refundable application fee.
Important Dates:
• Applications open on Wednesday, August 5
• Completed applications are due Tuesday, September 1
• Selected artists will be notified mid September.
• Artwork drop off: Friday, October 2 or Saturday, October 3
• Artwork pick up: Friday, January 8 or Saturday, January 9
Additional Information:
• Roughly 15 pieces can be displayed at one time, depending on size. Artwork will be displayed on the 40-foot-long primary wall in the public area of the building.
• Art Artwork must be no larger than 50Wx60H inches and weigh less than 25 pounds.
• Work must be 2D and/or wall mounted.
• Pieces must be ready to hang using wire and D rings or eye hooks when dropped off.
• All pieces must have finished edges or be framed.
• Solo and group shows only.
• All artwork must be original and created by the artist. No AI work accepted.
• The Eagan Art House takes no commissions on sales but does not facilitate artwork sales. We will put a potential buyer in touch with the artist directly. All artwork needs to remain on view through the end of the exhibition.
