Springboard for the Arts offers a wide range of professional development workshops covering all aspects of your artistic business. Our core curriculum is the Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists series, developed to be useful to artists practicing in all disciplines — visual, performing and literary arts. Artists can take the whole series, customized combinations, or individual workshops that best suit their needs.

We also offer other workshops and panel presentations to supplement the Work of Art series. These workshops include topics ranging from Artist Residencies, Copyright Essentials, Crowdfunding, Leasing and Buying Property, and Website Construction.

If you are an arts organization, school or other group interested in presenting some or all of the Work of Art workshops to your constituents, the cost of a standard 2.5 hr. workshop is $350.00 and $500.00 for a 2 hr. panel presentation (plus mileage and per diem if applicable). We can also work with you to do workshops specifically designed to meet the needs of your artists, audience and budget. Please complete and submit the Bring Springboard to You form.

You can also see all our upcoming workshops on our Workshops Calendar.
