The Heartland, Heartwork Field School brings rural cultural organizers together for four weeks of learning, connection, and exchange. Participants will explore practical methods for centering art, culture, and creativity in local community efforts, making connections between shared experiences and their own unique community contexts.
Participants are encouraged to bring questions, ideas, and challenges from their local work to each session for deeper exploration, feedback, and support.
Sessions take place Fridays from 10 am–12 pm CT on January 15, 22, and 29, and February 5, 2027.
Because the sessions build on one another and are designed to foster an ongoing network of connection, we strongly encourage you to register only if you can commit to attending all four sessions.
Registration is free, but space is limited. Open to rural-based leaders, artists and cultural organizers anywhere in the U.S.
