An attorney from Springboard’s Minnesota Lawyers for the Arts (MnLA) program will cover business models from LLC’s to 501(c)3’s, including information on how to prepare, and benefits and risks.
This workshop is part of a series of virtual workshops being presented in partnership with Hennepin County Library and is a part of Work of Art+, workshops that complement the 12-part Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists series, a professional development curriculum designed to teach business skills to artists in all disciplines. Bio: Benjamin S. Abraham is an attorney at Greenberg, Smith & Abraham, P.A., where his practice encompasses commercial real estate, corporate counseling, business litigation, and entertainment law. Ben provides strategic deal-structuring, general business advisory, and aggressive courtroom advocacy to commercial enterprises, tech innovators, and creative leaders. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia and a J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. In his free time, Ben serves on the board of the Minnesota Guitar Society and volunteers with Minnesota Lawyers for the Arts and Springboard for the Arts.
