Learn the basics of setting up and running live sound in this hands-on workshop designed for musicians, artists, performers, and anyone who works with audio at events. This session will cover how to set up PA system, as well as audio signal flow and mixing basics, safety considerations, and how to troubleshoot common sound problems, such as feedback.
No technical background required! Space is limited to 30 participants to allow for discussion and individual questions.

Bio: Colin Loynachan is a first call production manager and front of house engineer for national touring acts including Soul Asylum, The Jayhawks, and Gear Daddies. When not on tour, he serves as an A1 audio engineer for premiere Minneapolis music venues including The Armory, The Uptown Theater, The Parkway Theater, and others.
