This in-person training covers shooting and editing video using the device you already have in your pocket. Designed for both Android and Apple users, this session focuses on documentary, archival, and storytelling approaches, rather than short-form social media content. We’ll cover free editing apps, timeline basics, sequencing, cutting techniques, working with audio, adding text and photos, and other tools that elevate your footage without requiring professional gear.
After an introduction, participants will film and edit a short piece during a 90-minute hands-on work session. You’re welcome to bring existing footage to work with, or create something new on site. This workshop is ideal for artists, documentarians, and creatives who want to build confidence shaping stories through accessible mobile video tools
Space is limited to 12 participants to allow for discussion and individual questions. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided.
