This two-hour, drop-in study hall is designed for artists and creatives who want focused, hands-on support in a small group setting with preparing their taxes, with guidance from the team at Prepare+Prosper. Participants can choose between two tracks based on where they are in the tax-filing process.
If you’re ready to file: DIY Tax Filing Support (TaxSlayer)
If you’re ready to file; get direct, in-person help while filing your own return using Prepare + Prosper’s free DIY TaxSlayer platform. Staff will be available to help you navigate the software, troubleshoot common issues, and answer questions as you work.

If you’re not ready to file: Tax Organizer & Planning Support
If you’re not ready to file; this track focuses on getting organized in a small group setting. Receive help understanding and completing a tax organizer, identifying documents you’ll need, and clarifying next steps. Participants in this track will schedule a follow-up appointment with Prepare+Prosper to complete and file their return at a later date.
Space is limited to allow for discussion and individual questions. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided.
