The Latinx Project is thrilled to announce the next cycle of the Artist-in-Residence program open to emerging and mid-career artists based in the United States. As part of the Artist-in-Residence program, the selected artist will present a solo exhibition on campus with the option of curatorial support and a public program. The most compelling applications engage with larger contemporary or historic dialogues in Latinx Studies. Interested applicants can apply via the form below; applicants should include a concise portfolio that illustrates their artistic practice and approach. Key Details
- Artist Honorarium: $10,000
- Production budget: Up to $5,000 managed by TLP (exhibition design and production, artist materials, shipping artworks, exhibition documentation, and used for a reception)
Expectations
- 1 solo exhibition with a curator of choice. Artists are encouraged to produce at least one new artwork for the exhibition.
- 1 public program (Artist Talk)
