Call for Art – BOMBSHELL Art Show

BOMBSHELL Art Show

BOMBSHELL 2026 Group Art Show – Call for Art

Now accepting submissions for BOMBSHELL, a short-run March exhibition at ALTR Gallery,  451 Taft St NE Ste. 22 Minneapolis, MN 55413.

The theme is “BOMBSHELL,” interpret it as you like.

For example: overshares, secrets revealed, missiles, pinups, life-altering events, big news, war…

This show will be an open exploration of the theme and what that means to the individual artists. It is intended to be a large, juried, group show featuring the work of 30+ artists. Artwork will be hung salon-style (nearly edge-to-edge) in an effort to be all-encompassing of the theme and as potentially overwhelming as BOMBSHELL the concept can be.

BOMBSHELL is hosted and will be curated by Ms. Streeter and the former staff of the Auk Contraire Zine. Streeter’s work can be found
here. Past issues of the retired zine here.

All final artwork must not be larger than 24 x 24 inches (2D or wall-hung work) or have an 18×18 maximum footprint for pedestal pieces. Pedestals are limited. Please reach out with questions about sculpture, freestanding artworks, or larger size 2D work at
whittneyastreeter@gmail.com

All artwork must meet the OAC Artists Guidlines

All work must be dropped off/picked up in person (or by arranged proxy) at the gallery, no mail-in work can be accepted.

There is no fee for submitting, but if accepted, the fee for showing work in this exhibition is $10 (this covers organizing and promotional costs of the show). The gallery commission on sold artwork is 35%.
