Call for Artists: “Community” Juried Art Show

Cafe Marguerite

Cafe Marguerite is hosting a juried art show around the theme of Community. Café Marguerite is more than a Coffee Shop. It is a gathering place where ovens generate warmth, and tables generate conversation. Where espresso steam rises, ideas rise. Where strangers sit close enough to become neighbors. This exhibition invites artists to explore what community means to them. Is it the people who raised you? The neighbors who shaped you? The digital networks that hold you? The movements that challenge and transform you? Community is construction. It is tension. It is nourishment. It is accountability. We welcome work that examines family and chosen family, neighborhood and diaspora, online collectives, activism, faith, repair, and restorative justice. How are communities built, fractured, sustained, and healed? What does a just community look like in practice? Café Marguerite exists at the intersection of food, art, and dialogue. This show seeks work that reflects the fragile and resilient architecture of togetherness. Submit your vision of community. ******************************************************************************************
