Emerging Artists Exhibit
Display your work at the Eagan Art House! The Eagan Art House is accepting applications for an open call for art meant to highlight and uplift emerging artists. We welcome traditional and non-traditional media, including but not limited to photography, textiles, painting, digital artwork, drawing, and printmaking.
Selected work will be displayed in the Eagan Art House from July through September of 2026.
To support emerging artists in our community, application fees are waived for this exhibition.
Emerging artists are defined as artists early in their career. We will consider a broad range of definitions of the term emerging artist but have provided some guidelines here.
To complete an application, artist are asked to submit:
Timeline:
Applications open: April 3
Submission Deadline: May 8
Notification: June 5 (Early June)
Dropoff: Sunday, July 5 or Monday, July 6
Pickup: Saturday, Sept 26 or Sunday, Sept 27
Artwork will be dropped off at the Eagan Art House.
Artwork Requirements:
Artists may submit up to 5 pieces.
Work must be 2D and/or wall mounted using D rings or eye hooks and wire and be less than 25lbs.
Artwork must be no larger than 50Wx60H inches.
All artwork listed as for sale must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition.
Artwork must be framed or have finished edges.
Artwork must be properly wired and ready to hang when dropped off.
Artist name and artwork title must be securely attached to or written directly on the back of the piece.
Artists should be living in Minnesota for at least 6 months and be 16+ years old at the time of their application.
Artists must cover the cost to transport artworks to and from the Eagan Art House. All work selected must be ready to install. Works that are not gallery-ready, differ significantly from submitted images, or show poor craftsmanship can be disqualified.
