Call for Artists: Twin Cities Indigenous Puppetry Cohort

Z Puppets Rosenschnoz is excited to announce the 2026 Indigenous Puppetry Cohort, facilitated by Co-Creative Director Chris Griffith (Cherokee Nation).

The cohort is a paid opportunity for Native artists living in the Twin Cities to build skills in puppetry as a way to express their culture and identity. Applications are open until June 29.

Over 36 hours, the cohort will work together on building skills in puppetry performance, design, fabrication and writing/creation process.

At the final Circle event on September 19th, the group will have the opportunity to share works-in-progress with family, friends and community.
