Anderson Center invites submissions in any medium for a juried group exhibition, With the Grain. This show will feature artwork that incorporates wood in the making process or finished work, including sculpture, wall-pieces, wood-block prints, and multi-media art. Both functional and non-functional artworks are welcome.
Exhibition timeline (all in 2026)
April 8 at midnight Central Time: Application deadline
April 14: Notification to artists
May 9: Deadline for delivery of work
May 22 – August 15: Exhibition on view
Friday, July 10, 6-8 pm: Artist Reception
August 17 – September 14: Deinstallation and return of unsold work to artists
Anderson Center encourages (but doesn’t require) work to be available for sale. The organization takes a 35% commission (25% for members).
