The City of Bloomington’s Office of Creative Placemaking and Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Okodakiciye Dakota Advisory Committee, invite public artists from the contiguous United States to submit qualifications for the design, fabrication and installation of a site-specific sculpture which will be placed at Pond-Dakota Mission Park; an area with deep Indigenous history and connections. This public art installation will create a more distinctive sense of place and identity, and celebrate the history and culture of the Dakota people.
