Use you talents to help distinguish Red Wing, Minnesota as an arts and cultural destination by applying for the inaugural Creative Laureate Program. Launched by the Arts & Culture Commission, this program aims to financially support local visual and performance artists interested in designing and implementing a community-engaged project. This initiative provides support to selected individuals who will receive an honorarium to design and implement a community-engaged art project, program/workshop, performance, or installation piece that contributes to the city’s artistic and cultural vitality.
Up to three selected artists will develop and implement a community engagement project within a year of being awarded. Red Wing Creative Laureates are eligible to receive an honorarium of up to $1,200 to support your creative endeavors!
Artists must live or work within the City of Red Wing Area as defined by School District #256, or must be a resident of Goodhue or Pierce Counties. Learn more about the Creative Laureate Program and apply at the following website:
