The workshop will also include the essentials – tax deductions, recordkeeping, setting up your books, and tax planning - for filing your tax return. Presenters: Kathleen E. (Splett) Pfutzenreuter and Ben Wagner, Wagner Tax Law

Kathleen E. (Splett) Pfutzenreuter is an attorney at Wagner Tax Law. Her practice focuses on federal and state tax controversy matters, including audits, administrative appeals, litigation, and collections. She represents businesses and individuals in their tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Minnesota Department of Revenue, and Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). Prior to joining Wagner Tax Law, Kathleen was a clerk at the Minnesota Tax Court. During law school, Kathleen interned at the IRS Office of Chief Council in St. Paul, Minnesota. Kathleen is active with the Minnesota State Bar Association, where she is the Vice Chair of the Tax Section Council.

Ben Wagner represents businesses and individuals against the Internal Revenue Service, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and the Minnesota Department of Revenue in audits, collection cases, court actions, and administrative appeals. With each case he handles, Ben strives to develop practical solutions to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.
