Edina’s passion for the arts will be celebrated through an open theme exhibit of original outdoor sculptures displayed along the Edina Promenade from August 2025 to July 2027. The Edina Arts and Culture Commission invite professional sculptors, students and emerging artists who specialize in the design, construction and installation of outdoor sculptures to submit work for the exhibition. Up to five sculptures will be selected for display, where the works will be visible to pedestrians, bikers and all who use the Promenade daily. The Promenade connects to Centennial Lakes Park, which is visited by 400,000 visitors a year.
Each selected artist will receive a stipend of $1,000 per year for display of their artwork for two years (August 2025 – July 2027). Artwork may be available for sale while on display, but cannot be removed until completing the public art obligation with the City of Edina.
