Analog Arts Mpls. welcomes Minnesotan artists in any stage of their career to submit work for the upcoming exhibition: “Colony Collapse Disorder.”
This exhibition will be on view from July 16-20, 2025 at ALTR Gallery in Minneapolis.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 19, 2025
DESCRIPTION: “Colony Collapse Disorder is the phenomenon that occurs when the majority of worker bees in a colony disappear and leave behind a queen, plenty of food and a few nurse bees to care for the remaining immature bees and the queen. But the hives cannot sustain themselves without worker bees, and eventually they die.”
The theme of colony collapse disorder is open to interpretation. Participating artists might choose to explore subjects related to social disorder, societal collapse, space exploration, collectivism, workers withholding their labor, science fiction, colonialism, and (of course) bees and beekeeping.
– There is no submission fee, but there is a $25 exhibition fee if your work is accepted into the show.
– Entries must be received no later than Midnight on Saturday, April 19, 2025
– This exhibit is open to Minnesota artists working in all artistic media. Artists must be at least 18 years old to participate.
– A.I. generated artwork will not be accepted.
